Excel Office Script For Beginners (AND VBA ADDICTS!) Part 1/3

Don’t get me wrong, I love Excel VBA!  But, the fact is, Excel VBA isn’t available in online Excel.  With many (though not all) people now working ‘in the cloud’ with online Excel, there’s a need to learn its automation language – Excel Office Script.  We’ve had great success in the past few years using Excel Office Script on customer projects to automate time-consuming tasks.

This series is your absolute beginner introduction to Office Script.  We cover four topic areas: basic familiarization, working with cells, position control (yes, there’s an ‘offset’ equivalent!) and, finally implementing a loop.  No prior knowledge is assumed and, in the first video, I walk you through your first Excel Office Script step-by-step.
