So far in automation week, we’ve learned how to generate VBA code using the macro recorder, and how to trigger that code using a button. We’ve also at least touched on the five key skills areas of Excel VBA: interacting with cells, using variables, controlling position on the spreadsheet, expressing conditionality in Excel VBA and implementing loops. The focus today is on the final key skill area – implementing loops in Excel VBA – and on bringing everything together to create a powerful Excel VBA routine to automate a typical manual process.
