Yes, if your Excel file is effectively structured, the development process is generally smooth. The opposite applies if you’re dealing with sub-optimal structure – your Excel file might drive you mad! This is why structure determines programmer behaviour. The fact is, it doesn’t matter how good you are at Excel formulae, Power Query or VBA; if you cannot structure an Excel file effectively, you will always feel stressed when building a spreadsheet.
