Are you frustrated with pivot tables in Excel? There’s no doubting the awesome computational power of a pivot table. However, pivot tables have their downsides too. The ‘Pivot Table Fields’ interface can be difficult to operate in Excel, making a pivot table difficult to set up. Then, they can quickly change layout without much warning. And, they add infrastructure to file which can slow down file efficiency. Over the years, I’ve talked to many professionals who are frustrated with pivot tables. So, is there an alternative to pivot tables in Excel?

I’m a big fan of Excel’s data analysis formulae. Applied correctly (admittedly they too can be difficult to setup!), they offer the power of a pivot table and less frustration! In this session, I talk you through the main Excel data analysis formulae from beginner level, with no prior knowledge assumed.
